The PPE, POLE DE PLASTURGIE DE L'EST, develops processes and transfers technologies for industrialists working in the aeronautics, boating and automobile sectors thanks to RTM injection (Resin Transfer Moulding) and infusion.

A non-destructive testing centre with an international dimension
The ISEETECH (Institut Supérieur Européen de l’Entreprise et de ses Techniques) non-destructive testing centre for composite materials is of international importance. It combines the expertise of the Pôle de Plasturgie de l’Est and the Institut de Soudure (Welding Institute). The technological equipment in the park will, among other things, bring to fruition two major projects at the MATERALIA competitiveness cluster - CAPSAIRTM (Light design of parts for aeronautics structures using RTM) and COMAC (Optimised multi-technical control techniques for composite aeronautical structures), thereby expanding the local aeronautics industry. Lorraine companies and colleges involved in the project include SLCA, an AIRCELLE subsidiary, CINI, VISUOL and ARTS ET METIERS PARISTECH.
