Further to the organization of the EITS Business Convention in Metz in November 2009, Moselle Development Agency has concluded a contract with the Indian Agency CORPORATE CATALYSTS INDIA in New Delhi in last March, concerning the economic representation of the Moselle Department in India. According to this contract, CCI carries out targeted canvassing operations with Indian companies potentially interested by a development on the European market. They also follow up contacts initiated during the 2009 EITS Business Convention.
Moselle Development Agency and CCI will jointly participate in the Pune Engineering Expo, from 19th to 22nd November 2010, with a 12 m². booth.
This professional exhibition has been existing for 8 years and takes place in different towns situated in four large Indian States. Pune is an important industrial centre situated in the State of Maharashtra, specialized in automotive construction. It hosts BAJAJ AUTO, one of the biggest Indian motorcycle manufacturers, but also TATA MOTORS and the Germans DAIMLER and MAN. This exhibition is especially oriented engineering and production. It should gather some 1,000 exhibitors and 50,000 professional visitors, among whom numerous decision makers, institutional representatives as well as foreign delegates.

Moselle Development Agency has already pre-identified some 50 Moselle companies and institutions located in India or potentially interested by the Indian market. These companies have been contacted with respect to the Pune Exhibition. Some of them should benefit from the Moselle booth in Pune to develop their contacts on site. Last but not least, Moselle Development Agency has made up a special presentation file for the exhibition, highlighting the skills and assets of the Moselle Department in the fields of engineering, training and research in various sectors such as automotive, industrial equipment or nuclear energy.
