Moselle Development Agency was present at the JEC COMPOSITES Fair in Paris, on the COMPOSITE PARK stand, together with its partners Pôle de Plasturgie de l’Est (PPE) and POLE FIBRES. In an industrial sector where technological master ship and innovation are decisive, the Composite Park offers all the necessary human and technical assistance for a successful achievement of industrial composite projects, from design and formulation up to industrial manufacture and control of plastics pieces.
In November 2009, Composite Park and Plexconcil, the Indian Federation for the Promotion of Plastics, started cooperation in the composite plastics sector, by signing a so-called Memorandum of Understanding. At the JEC Fair, Plexconcil and the FRP Institute (Indian Federation for Composite Materials), occupied a common pavilion together with 6 Indian companies, just in front of the Composite Park stand.
In order to pursue and extend the existing links with these Indian organisms, Moselle Development Agency organized on Friday, 16th April, just after the Fair’s end, a trip to Moselle. The Indian exhibitors present at the JEC Fair have come to Moselle and visited the Pôle de Plasturgie (Plastics Processing Centre), the Composite Park, where a relay building for company creators will be built shortly, and finally the ALTUGLAS plant (ARKEMA group). This delegation composed of 12 members, including a journalist from the Indian PTI press agency, has been received in Saint-Avold by Thierry Zimny, Vice-President of the “Pays Naborien” Urban District, for lunch with a fruitful exchange of opinions.
