The Italian EMARC Company invests in Moselle
Thanks to the availability of a building at Argancy (former CATERPILLAR logistics hub), the EMARC company has decided to set up in Moselle in order to be closer to its customer, the SOVAB car manufacturer at Batilly.
The FREMARC Company, the headquarters of which are located in Douai, is the French subsidiary of the Italian EMARC group who produces profiled and assembled parts for the automotive industry. RENAULT has chosen this company to supply them the side rails and cross pieces for the new MASTER van which will be produced from 2009 on at Batilly. FREMARC has decided to set up close to its customer in order to be able to provide him with the planned quantity of 270,000 parts per year. The company also comes closer to its steel suppliers - ARCELOR and THYSSENKRUPP – who are located in Moselle too.
Creation of 100 new jobs
Thus, the existence of a free building of 17,500 m² at Argancy has allowed the FREMARC company to set up rapidly in Moselle. This project involves the creation, in the coming few months, of some one hundred new jobs as well as a total real estate and machine investment of 16 million euros.
